OUR STORY
A working horse barn
where the unexpected happens
Crazy Girl Farm is a working equestrian barn on Vashon Island where horses still live and events happen alongside them, not instead of them. The barn doors open to forest, pasture, and the kind of quiet that only island life can offer.
Vashon does things a little differently. The ferry ride is part of the experience. The ingredients come from down the road. And the people who show up tend to be the kind who appreciate a long table, a good glass of wine, and a horse watching from the next stall over.
THE PROPERTY
A working equestrian barn with cedar stalls, hand-forged iron hardware, vaulted ceilings, and a chandelier that sets the mood for everything from intimate dinners to acoustic sets. Heated year-round with indoor-outdoor flow through the barn doors to the pasture.
The Barn

Farm-to-table pop-up dinners with guest chefs. Wine and cider tastings featuring Pacific Northwest producers. Seasonal supper clubs for solstice dinners, harvest tables, and holiday gatherings. Live acoustic music nights. Weekend brunch series. Art shows and maker markets in the stalls. Yoga and wellness mornings followed by brunch. Private dinners and celebrations. No two events are the same.
The Events

Collaborations with Vashon farmers, winemakers, and artists. Ingredients sourced within miles, not menus. No rush, no pretension — shoes optional, dogs welcome. The ferry ride is part of the experience. The kind of place that only exists on an island.
